The '67 may not be as fast, but there's ways to fix that. Nothing beats the looks of a classic car.
This kid my friend knows brought his SRT-4 over the other night and took me for a ride. He just bought the car used, and said I wouldn't believe how 'it throws your head back.' Truth be told, it's quick, but it doesn't feel quick. His car may be a faster than my roommate's '99 GT, but my roommates car will throw your ass back a lot harder.

Ah, the beauty of torque. Take him for a ride in a big block so he can experience what it really is like to have your head thrown back.
yea.......i loved my srt.......didnt wana get rid of it.......but damn i got a good deal on this stang and well its gonna be valued more with the years passing and all...
anywayz.....today i spent the whole day taking out the fron suspension (control arms, sway bar, etc) damn is this thing old hahaha....love it
Since before I was old enough to drive, I always wanted a classic Mustang in '94 Thunderbird Blue with white stripes. But now I'm not changing my '66 cause it was my first car and I want it to be the way it was when I was in High School(Except with a V8). I just wouldn't feel right changing it; it would just feel like a different car. O well...
Today i went and bought the whole front suspension upgrade....lower/upper control arms, sway bar, spindels, prothane bushings, springs, etc......just need to install the lower control arm and the spring and ill be done with suspension
tomorrow ill be starting in the rear...
any1 know how to upgrade the drum brakes??? breakin sucks big time...and well do ya'll recommend completely switching to disc brakes or just getting a brake cylinder ball or watever thats called...dont realy want to change to discs since the brakes are brand new along with the drums and brake lines
The factory front drums suck. For $350-400 Scarebird Mechanical stuff with parts from rockauto.com will get you a really nice front disc conversion with new MC and pads included.
Get rid of the poly strut rod bushings before you snap a strut rod and die! Not kidding! Poly in general sucks, but its a bit late for that now.
