I was wondering if anyone has used a solid pinion spacer verses a standard cruch sleeve when setting up new gears. I hear solid is the way to go. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

If you are going to run a solid spacer make sure whoever installs it knows what they are doing.

I use a crush sleave with a NON locking nut, set the depth.

Pull nut off and measure the crush sleave.

Install same thickness solid bushing with new locking nut.

Thats my story on it !

Solid is the only way to go............

you want to set the rotating torque of the pinion with the spacer, not the depth, which is set by the shim under the pinion
