Hey guys,

Well i FINALLY recieved the hot side i needed (took 16 weeks). So i have that mocked up, and the turbo mocked up as well so i could finish the pipeing for the cold side. The other side is done for those who remember my last thread. If you dont here u go -

I ended up welding the pipes together where they enter the fender, so theres no need for the coupler there, looks much cleaner.

Anyways, i finished the passenger side cold side. The turbo outlet sticks right into the fender as you can see from the pics. I think it came out pretty good, i just need to figure out what im gonna do about an air filter. Any sugestions?I have all the pipes tack welded, im gonna get them all tig welded soon as i cant weld very good I also tack welded on the pipe for the tial BOV, which is pictured. Once every thing is welded up, ill be getting everything coated, including the hotside (jethot) which is just painted right now.

And heres the hot side..

Yea its a 3.5 downpipe. I got the hot side from B+G turbo, so it all came together from them.

Heres their site, i know they sell DIY materials - http://www.bgturbokits.com/store/

also check out - http://www.racepartsolutions.com/ for all kinds of other DIY turbo kit related parts.

Killer - im runing the march front alt bracket..

prokiller - its a 306, trickflow heads, undecided cam ( f or stock) and a mp t70 turbo and all the other crap to go along with it. I have a few different wastegate springs so i can choose between 8,11,13 psi.

I flipped the intake to be a little different and it cleaner looking. Plus it allows me to use a straight through intercooler.

Looks nice. Same turbo as the kit I'm building. I have been saying a month for about 3 weeks and it definitely won't be done in a week. So I'm gonna say a month now too.

Turbo mustangs don't run.

You didn't know that? Everyone knows that.

I was at Kowloon's last weekend for Mai Tai's / comedy connection. They make bommmmmbs there. I drove, but my GF was A over T after 1.5 drinks. Cheap date. You ever head down there?

Get that thing running so I have someone to head to Epping and get bad gas mileage with.

You know what, ive never been there for the comedy connection. Funny since i live so close. I have of course been there for dinner though, its a cool place.

Yea we will deffinatly have to hit the track in the fall.. Have you ever been to a rental (wensday day)? Its sick, i went once last year and there was NO ONE there, just me and two other cars.. You can get in as many runs as ur car can take. Of course it does cost 100 and u gotta take a day off, but it beats the long as lines on saturdays

Update:

I went ahead and mocked up the intake manifold / TB to make sure everything still fit correctly. Well it turns out that when i first made the cold side for the drivers side one of my motormounts was broken and the engine was sitting on the k member, so the motor was a little bit crooked and it threw the cold side on that side off, so i had to remake it. It is a little more complicated this time but its just about done.

i just need a length measurement on a MAF so i can finish this up. I dont have my stocker around anymore. I plan to use a PMAS MAF and i tried to email a their vendor but got no response.. I figure the two mafs' must be about the same length.
