Off-road mid-pipe.
I suppose you could just steal a nitrous kit and use the bit of money you have to pay off any witnesses

If you only have a few hundred to work with you could
get a O/R Bassani X pipe and notest a gain.
A Nitrous Express kit will be the best bang for the buck.

Techniqally any mod you do to your car will affect its reliablility. Of course, that's the risk you have to make as a car enthusiast . Nitrous is safe, you just have to take the right precautions.

O/R midpipe
Nitrous - Not cheap but it is cheaper than most other ways to get that kinda power.

Best bang for the buck is a tune.

I got a CMR chip with an off the shelf tune and got 15 RWHP for $350.
