Maybe if the mirror falls off again...

Ah! Forgot to add "speedo cable" to the list of to-do items. Soooo, for the Capri's leftover to-do's, let's seeeeee...
- Speedo gear/cable
- Sand/Prime/Paint
- O2 Sensor swap
- Gloss up the interior a bit
- Fix back-up lights (splice switch wire)
- Install electric fan to replace whistling pseudo-supercharger clutch fan
- Fix the gangsta-lean seat issue
- New windshield
- Convert back to four-eye nose and hide all Mustangy references elsewhere
- See what kinda E/T's you can get with it at Firebird this summer

And then there's the Pervertible...
- Swap H-pipes
- Add acetone and go smoggin'
- New/Different tires
- Struts/Shocks
- Tranny fluid/filter change
- Rear gear fluid change
- Install triple-gauge setup (or radio, whatever you wanna do with that empty spot in there)
- Respray flakey interior pieces
- Replace that one little third brake light bulb I keep forgetting about

There's more, I'm sure, but I can't remember the rest right off hand...

hmmmm, I wonder if the Capri could use new tranny (heh...) and rear end (uuuuhh huh huh huh...) fluid? I don't think it's ever been changed.

I'd say that's a possibility

Snap up three quarts of Dex III, three quarts of Mobil 1 rear gear fluid, some limited slip additive, and a rear diff gasket, and we'll tackle that one in a jiffy this weekend. Should take less than 2 hours, total; the most time-consuming part is using that stupid gear lube pump to refill the things, because it seems to always take fuggin' FOREVER.

We can nail those two at the same time while we've got it up in the air to do the speedo cable, O2 sensors, and figuring out what rear gear ratio you've got.

Forgot to mention ... gear fluid should be 75w-90 weight. Also, for the tranny fluid (Mercon/Dexron III type), probably better go with the same Hurst fluid I put in the Notch - not too much more pricey (it's not like you'll need 12 quarts like in an AOD), and the shifter sure felt a lot better after I threw that in there the other weekend. And hey, the purple color is preeeeettyyyyyyy...

Ok, so, tomorrow we'll go to Autozone together so there's no chance I'll get the wrong stuff.

They'll probably be expecting us, being that we stopped there, what ... SIX times there or so, last weekend?
