Hi Everyone!

I am about ready to purchase a 2006 Mustang GT. Almost every dealer I have been to has removed the dealer markup from the purchase price. Most of the dealers I have been to though are pretty persistent on getting MSRP for the cars. A few dealers have said they will go below sticker, but won't give me a price until I am ready to purchase. I was wondering if anyone on this board has recently purchased a 2006 GT in Southern California and if so, did you pay MSRP or did you get it for less?. Any dealerships/salespeople I should visit or any I should avoid?

Thanks a bunch!
Michael

PS- I do have an X-Plan pin available.

Thanks for the reply Mark. I live in Southern California...Hawthorne to be specific. Did you buy an '05/'06 from someone at Chino Hills?

Thanks!
Michael

PS- I plan on purchasing a car off of the lot, not ordering.

I was told my cerritos ford they would give me the mustang gt at invoice...
Not sure if they are offering that to everyone but I know I almost got one from them if I had actually been able to sell my current car...for the down payment that is.
You can try them out though, they were cool to me.

Was this for a car on the lot or for ordering one?

Thanks for all of the responses!

I got mine for $500 under MSRP from Bob Baker Ford in S.D. It was hard and I had to threaten to walk away a few times but he came around...
