spacer for cam!!!!!!!!!??????????

the kit cam with a spacer to put in front of the cam, and then we put the plate and snap it went. now another question. do i need the spacer????? it wasn't on before it came with the kit. plus if you do put it on the cam is gonna be pushed about 1/8th into were it goes?????????

What kind of timing chain is it? Roll master?

well ive never heard of a spacer for the cam.. But i have heard of a thrust washer to goes between the thrust plate and the cam sprocket.

BUT ON THE HAYNES MANUEL ITS ONLY ON THE 6 BANGEr NOT ON THE EIGHT. god dam cap locks... so do i need it??/ anyone put one when they did theres? i dont want to take it apart again if i dont or do need it

ok if i put the spacer its gonna push the cam back. if i dont put it on, its gonna be flush with the block.

i did not have a spacer. the cam should be flush with the block.

thanks thats what i thought, dam ****ing spacer!!!!!!!!!!!!!we broke the plate cuz of that!!!!!!!!!!!! **** i could drove it home today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!aaaaahhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!lol
