Hey guys, just wondering if there is a gasket between the Plenum and the Intake manifold, because I am thinking about getting an intake spacer and I am wondering if that spacer should come with a gasket. Thanks!

The manifold has a reusable rubber gasket that will likely stay right in/on the manifold when you pull the elbow - it sits in a channel on the manifold and is meant to be reusable. But if you add a spacer, you'll need a paper gasket between the elbow and the spacer...whichever one you buy SHOULD come with one, but you could always make your own with a sheet of paper gasket material, a knife or scissors and a hole punch (or just use a old bolt and block of wood to punch the holes for the manifold bolt holes (which, by the way, should be included too as these will need to be longer than the originals).

there is a o-ring that sits in a channel between the Manifold and Plenum, which in your case(as well as mine) now sits between the Manifold and Spacer. and all spacer kits ive seen come with their own spacer-plenum gasket set.

and for 30 bucks for a spacer(mustangtuning.com), why the hell not? i wouldnt list it as a real mod by itself, but if youre going to do a plenum/tb combo, why not spend a couple extra bucks and slap it in there while its off?
