after installing my prochamber, i hear what i believe to be spark knock. its around 2-3k when lightly accelerating. I returned it to stock tune and it still does it. Is this just the un-muffled noise of the engine or is this truly spark knock. Its kind of a chugging noise with a hint of knock if this makes sense also between 2-3.5k when getting on the throttle the exhaust seems to vibrate loudly. if anyone has any suggestions or experience please let me know thanks again stangnet

What kind of mufflers are you running?

A Prochamber is inbetween an X and an H pipe and may hold some of the raspy "tin can" aspects of an X pipe... that would be my guess depending on muffler setup.

I hear no such noises with my prochamber. If my car shifts into 4th at a low speed and i lightly accelerate - while still in 4th - it will make an echoing "chugging" noise. But definitely not a knock.

If you haven't had it very long - I would suggest driving a bit more - it will "break in" and the tone will change a bit from my experiences. Also, that paint they use will produce a pretty foul smell.

I have no noises with my Prochamber other than the slight sound of the exhaust gases wooshing through the chamber under me. And I don't even notice that anymore.
