The mongoose kit was great up untill I blew up my plug! Took it to Sun Valley and back, ran like a charm and ate cars silly enough to not recognize that funny little whining noise!
I'm probably going to be swapping over to some stage 2 heads, and blower cams, so it should be even more fun when I get back to 8 cylinders!

Yeah, I just got the car, went to pull the plugs. First one came out tough, 2nd one busted after taking the breaker bar to it... damn thing lived up to its name! Its an '87 and the last plug reciept I saw was back in '98. Havent even touched the 3rd plug.

But thats what I figured, Ill pull the head.

Detonation can cause that, melts enough of the plug to blow it out, usually the plug suffers worse than the head, get a thread chaser from the parts store and see if the threads will clean up enough to get a new plug in it.
