Ok so I figured out why my car was bogging out so bad it had a bad coil plug in the 8 cylinder so I Changed it out and it ran perfect again but I just got off of work and it's running bad again so I looked at It and it looked like it was off a little from the spark plug.
My question is how do I get the coil boot to stay on if I think I overrthreated the little screw that's on it.

First check the spark plug itself for backing out. Best defense is to torque to recommended specs.

What is the difference between a hot and cold engine bc I didn't see your post and I tried taking out my sparkplug and it didn't wanna come out it just kept twisting left
So I left it alone

Confirm what model year we are dealing with.

Regardless, this is not good.

Ouch.
Sounds like a helicoil kit or possiable a new head is in the works.
I am always double careful when I'm messin with the sparkplugs. So close to the combustion chamber. An To torque it an use antiseize. So when I remove them they are not stuck in the head. Ripping the threads out. An when putting them in not to crossthread them.
Also make sure you have the correct socket, so not to strip the plug?
