I just installed my MSD 6A as well as new 9mm MSD wires, new cap rotor blaster TFI coil new Accel TFI module, should i open up the spark gap a little? I though i heard somewhere that you could run a little more gap if you got enough juice.
its mostly stock, the only mods being exhaust/gears ignition. I just thought i heard that you could open up the gap a little if you had an MSD box and coil
You can open the gap with the box if you choose. You would have to just keep opening it till you get a cut out and then back it down some. I'm too lazy to do stuff like that but you sure can.
Thanks for the mods info - I hate saying something like to open a gap, and then it turns out the poster runs 10 PSI and nitrous.
Shaker's right. I should have prefaced what I said with my thought that 0.060" is probably about as far as you'd get and maintain enduring tractability.
