i worked in a race engine shop for about 3 years. on the engine dyno it was worth 2-5 hp. never done on my personal vehicles. it does work to some degree.

Agreed.

I don't think it will do any good with the new design/stlye of the 3V plug. It does work with "old school" style plugs.
