Spark plug wires popping off

I think the thread that discussed this was lost in the crash. Can someone tell me what might be causes of this again ?

Here's a few suggestions:

1. Leads not pushed fully home in the first place.
2. Old leads or loose lead connection.
3. Loose plugs.
4. Leads not supported properly in loom or similar

another possible culprit could be moisture in the boots. I got some of the MSD dielectric grease and put those on the wires below the contacty and then slud (with apologies to Dizzy Dean) the boots into position. No popping. Also, are you using anything to hold the wires on the distrib?
