Is there any benefit from buying the regular spark plug wires for $21.99 versus the Borg Warner Tailor magnetic core wires for $43.99. I have the cheap ones on now, but am getting ready for changing the wires and plugs and was just wanting to know what the differences really are between the two.

No difference on your car...especially if they come with a lifetime warranty like most do...

I've heard a few people say the OEM Motorcraft or Autolite plug wires work the best. I've had Autolites on my capri for about 5 years and they seem to work very well. Go with whatever has a good warranty though.

Well got the plugs and wires done today. I used Autolite copper 764's and I went with the Bosch Wireset from Autozone. I was able to trade in my cheaper $20 set and pay the difference for the better set $43. Wouldn't it be nice if the wires were actually the correct length?? I must have had at least 2-3" to much on about 6 of the wires. I was able to route them around evenly through the holders to make it look good, but dang, I wish they would cut them the right length.

Took about 2 hrs, but I also changed out some wireloom and clothtape to keep everything out of harms way (heat).

Last thing I have to do is get the transmission filter changed and then the pumpkin fluid changed. That will complete my 90,000 mile tuneup by about 88,000
