Platinum's are a definite no no for our cars. The spark doesn't burn hot enough because platinum doesn't conduct nearly as well as copper. There are many cases with high rpm sputtering with plat plugs. The only thing better about a platinum plug is that they last longer.

Ditto.

Splitfires aren't that much better.

Best plugs for N/A stockish 5.0's are Autolite 25's or Motorcraft 42c's
