Spark plugs...???

What kind of spark plugs and wires would u recommend for a tune-up on my pony? does it matter if i get 8,9, or 10 mm wires for my stock engine?
Motorcraft or Autolite - same thing.

8mm wires. Some say 9, but I think they're overkill. 10s are way too big.

Ive used MSD wires, FMS wires, and Livewires.

The livewires are the best looking without a doubt. I have already ruined one wire though, and ive had them on for 1 week. The inside clamp stayed on the plug when i pulled the wire off.

Ive killed a tun of MSD wires as well, i dont care for them since they use a straight spark plug boot.

The only wires that held up was the FMS wires i had, but i changed to the livewires for the look.

FMS are quality wires, you just have to be patient with them. They are too long, so cut 'em. Mine fit great. As long as we are talking moderate horsepower levels (<300), a spark plug wire is a spark plug wire.

I thought that too, even went to return them to the auto parts store because they hit my headers. And he proceeded to demonstrate to me that they're meant to be bent in whatever direction you need. Turns out they fit fine :D. But I wish they had the numbers stamped on them like the FMS wires do. The next time I have to do wires, I'll probably just get the FMS ones again.

like dave said, they bend. :)

i have msd wires. no complaints. they come with little numbers you can snap on the wires, but you have to figure out which wire fits which cylinder best before you put the numbers on. it's not hard, but it takes a little extra time.
