hi im a new guy here.i need some help on some spark plugs.i have just gone with the stock oem plugs for a long time now what are some good ones 2 go with? thanks. oh and my car burns some oil as well.
Motorcraft copper plugs work just fine (or Autolite coppers). I use one step colder (22Cs) Motorcraft plugs and they get 'er done. Don't bother with any of the sparkplugs that cost $20 apiece - you can save the price difference and put that money towards other mods.
How much oil exactly are you burning? If you are burning more than one quart of oil per 1000 miles, you probably have some big problems (like valves/guides, etc). Perhaps a teardown/rebuild is in order - if it is REALLY losing oil at a fast pace.
Other than that, keep a close eye on it and check/add accordingly. If you actually have a leak (oil pan? seal?), find the source, and fix it.
