yep

yeah i have plans on my website http://bluemonster.freeservers.com i havent updated it in a while but they should still be there. its for 2 8"'s. i suppose you could fit two tens by making the depth a little more to increase internal volume. the plans are for about as simple a box you could build.

Just checked out your site and the pics of the enclosure look real clean. The part I like the best is...theres trunk space! Where do you keep your spare though?

im thinking 10s or 12s...would it be practical to put in the quarter panel holes? would it vibrate the heck outta my body? It would look AWESOME to have a 10" sub in both of the quarter panel trunk pockets!

That would look really damn sweet. Thats the thing Im wondering. Youd think almost any sub would rattle the hell outta these old unit bodies steel cars.

You know what would look even cooler though...3 or 4 of these( http://www.shopping.com/xPF-Kicker_S8L74 ) in that same speaker box that BlueMonster has on his site.

does anyone know how you would go about making a custom fiberglass enclosure for the quarter holes on the trunk?

i made side panels to mount my crossover and capacitor on and i used plywood for the panel. i took some cardboard and cut it to make the desired shape of the panel then transfered that to the plywood. to mount the panel to the floor i used a piece of angle iron. and screwed it to the panel and then the trunk floor. to make this a speaker box you could add a custom fiberglass enclosure or just a regular wood box. As far as the panels rattling these old cars are built alot better than new ones and if you invest in some high quality sound deadener you shouldn't have too many rattles. i used v-max by cascade its available from www.partsexpress.com. i don't use a spare, i just make sure my AAA membership is up to date
