If I want to remove my speed-cal do I just unplug it? I did not do the install, but I know where it is because I installed my 5.0 shifter. Would I have to do any splicing of any wires ?? I want to use the predator to fix the speedo.
I would disconnect the neg batt cable 1st. It should have (wire)plugs at transmission & a positive wire(12volt) and plug(wire plug)at cigarette lighter in the shifter area. If you are not sure what to do..I have the installation instructions at work(can get Mon) I do not think splicing or unsplicing is necessary. Only the 12volt power wire has a spliced connection.
