I installed the ford racing conversion kit about 4 years ago and haven't had any problems. It was expensive, around $600, but it was plug and play. Only took a few hours to complete. Came with a new computer, harness adapter, mass air meter, and air inlet tubes. There are other aftermarket brands also. A lot of people on here like to piece them together with donor parts, but you have to switch pins on the eec harness. Im sure others will tell you how that works.

Used 70mm SN95 MAF = $30 (or used stock fox 55mm MAF for $10)
70mm MAF adapter = $35
Used 89-93 Inlet tubes = $25
IST MAF harness = $40
Used computer (A9L or A9P) $100
VSS sensor and speedo cable if needed (depends on year and trans) $50

We need more info though. What year is your car and do you have cruise control

I would have a complete 1989 mass air set up, which is the only one you can use (86-88 uses the 1989 mass air harness)
