My 06 GT has been at the dealer since Monday. ABS light, engine light, traction control light all came on. Plus the Traction control couldn't be turned back on. So the dealer originally said that the ABS module was failing, so they replaced that. But that didn't fix it.

So, I guess they were pretty stumped as to the problem so they were in contact with some higher up engineers (what they said) and working on the issue. So I get a call back from the service guy a few minutes ago, he said that they think it is the speed sensor. So I did a little digging around google, and apparently the speed sensor has something to do with Automatic transmissions. Well, mine is a manual. He said that I could be having performance problems because of this due to fuel delivery and such and it could be what is causing the warning lights.

What is yall's opinion about all of that? Sorry if I am missing any info, but that is all I know.

Thanks!!

Another part they are replacing...

Ok, so now that they have replaced the speed sensor, they are now saying that they need to replace the ECU module.

what is the ECU module, and should I be a little concerned about all of these parts needing to be replaced? Like maybe there is another underlying problem that has caused all of these things to fail?

thanks again..

I've read on this board a few different times when it rains real hard, or people wash their engine bays and not really seal off the computer it will leak in there and cause some sort of short or problem resulting in lots of false idiot lights to come on. I couldn't find the thread, but i'm pretty sure a ECU replacement was the fix.

ECU stands for Electronic Control Unit I belive. The cars computer.
