Basically in step 5 of the installation, you are supposed to crimp the cig lighter wire withc the red wire of the speedcal with a scotch lock. The lock they sent with it was pretty *****ty, so it didnt cut through sleeve of the lighter wire. What I did was connect the two wires myself and wrapped it up with some electrical tape, and then it worked. SO.....what should have been a 45 min install turned out to be like 2 hours. Step 8 was a b*tch as well, the directions could have been explained a lot better.
