Make sure that you lube the new one good and make sure that it dosen't have to make any sharp bends either. Is the cable that broke new?

I just ordered a new cable for my C-4 from mustangsunlimited.com and it came with a little tube of green lube? I've hear that ATF works too or you can try graphite, Dri-Slide (motorcycle shops have this stuff for cables)
