OK my speedo is crazy. when its cold outside in the winter. once the speedo gets past say.. 45 the speedo will jump to 80-115ish or so and jump around erratically. and while making a contant ringing sound. when its warm in the spring and summer it doesnt really do it at all.
i have noticed my speedo cable has burn marks on it and been cut up pretty bad. also it never did this until my t5 swap a long time ago.
also my speedo gear i sorta of chewed up but i put it in when i did my t5 swap so it was good starting out.
dont know if it could be the VSS or not.
my guesses are... worn cable with too many scrape and cuts( you can see the metal under te gray jacket) OR i routed it wrong when i did my t5 swap and it has too many bends. but i am still stumped as to why it only does it in cold weather. it has to be like under 40 degrees
give me your input.
