Ok im driving home and i hear this clang under the car. I pull over check for oil leaks and walk back a few yards looking for parts laying in the road.. NOTHING. get back in the car and take off and notice my speedo is on dead 0.
So I'm thinking when the shop put the new speedo gear in the tranny they left off a bolt and something fell off. Take it back to the shop and nothing fell off the tranny. My question is: Where do I go from Here?
Do i run the cable route and see or is there another unit in the system that i may have to change...

Anyhelp would be greatly appreciated...

Take the VSS out and spin the gear, while doing so probe the connector and check the voltage.

Check fuse 6 under the dash. Shared but not with stuff that you would see right away. (RKW module, Anti-theft module, A/C clutch coil, Speed control amp, clock (illum).
