spot welding

i got some welding to do on the quarters, trunk floors, etc. just wondering what size drill bit to use when making my holes, dont know if their is a univ size everyone uses.

3/8 inch is what you need, i believe

Wow, you guys must love welding. I used a 5/16 bit to drill out the spot weld when I replaced my battery apron. It's more than strong enough since there are so many of them.

you need many drill bits, smaller up to 3/8 maybe bigger depending how well you end up drilling in the middle of the spot weld
