Spout connector?

Where is this spout connector located that we are supposed to disconnect when adjusting timing?

follow your maf wires to where they enter the fender. the spout connector will be hanging in that wire harness on the outside of the hole where maf wires enter pass side fender...

and don't disconnect/reconnect the little gray plug while the key is on.

oh, ya! when you remove the spout connector put it in your pocket....dont loose it like i did...i had to make a new one...lol

So first I mark on the balancer what I want it at (10*) and then disconnect the spout connector, then I loosen the dizzy and then I start the car and turn w/e way till I see the mark solid and turn car off tighten dizzy connect spout and start again and check?

that sounds right. But you could probably get away with 11-12* on 87octane. Maybe not 12* but I used to run 11

I run 13* when its hot, and 14 when its cool. And I run premium year round.
