ok ive searched and havnt found anything about the proper way to cut a coil spring, do you cut from the top or from the bottom, or is it like a 1/2 from the top and 1/2 from the bottom type deal?

how far are you wanting to lower your car
if you cut i wouldnt cut more than a coil and a 1/2 off the top. thats where we cut mine from. could be wrong though lol

Just save up and do it right. They are not that expensive. And if you don't do it right for both, you will be driving down the road wopsided.

this can be done in 2 simple steps.

1. sell mustang
2. buy civic

on a serious note, the list of reasons you shouldnt cut your springs is pages long. save up and do it the right way if you are going to do it at all.

WTF is "Do It Right"?

I just installed Fox springs on my car and it actually raised up. So why should I trade my stang in for a Civic?
