Time for the airing of grievances.

Merry Christmas everyone!

took the snowmobile for a ride yesterday...made it whole 13 miles before my new helmet went tits up
stupid double pane face shield separated and fogged up between the panes and couldn't see a damn thing, rode home with the visor up in 18F weather with blowing snow lol. I jumped in my dads truck and took the helmet back to where i got it. Came home with a new visor for the price of on the house! I bought my sled there and the helmet and my dad bought his kubota there so they knew better than to give me about a helmet that i bought 8 months ago.

Good thing they helped you out on the helmet. That had to be a cold ride with the shield up.
I don't like the cold or snow! Its snowing right now. Glad I have a snow blower on the tractor and heat in the cab.

wow larry's alive Bryan how big was your burrito $hit? What did you get for goodies larry, and yeah this layout is not as good mike.

Finally pulled the trigger and got an AR-15. Had been wanting one for awhile and figured if I dont get one now despite the hugely inflated prices I may not be able to at all not to far down the road. I'll be picking it up in NH on Thurs.

Oh you must have paid through the nose for that. Since that school shooting and the talk of weapons bans the price has shot through the roof. I can't even get a stripped lower receiver to build mine. Bolt carrier groups are also in short supply. Everyone sold out of everything real quick. Douche bags were trying to sell lowers that they got for $70 for $300-$500 on online auction sites. Magazines dried up also. Good luck finding a decent deal on ammo. Hope you got the 5.56 and not the .223.
I did get my upper assembly on christmas eve. It also came with a lower parts kit and hand grip. Now I have to wait it out for a while before I can get a lower and assemble it.
I also noticed that the AR-10 receivers disappeared. Those are more costly anyways and usually more scarce.
As for the burrito poo...it went better than expected.

I did get it in 5.56. You can still get ammo in the stores if you get lucky. Right now I have 2 30RD mags on hand and a few more on the way. Cabelas had a TON of .223 ammo yesterday. Doubt it will survive the weekend.

I know the bulk ammo dried up real quick.
Nice gun. Does that have a proprietary upper? I thought there were things that were proprietary on that so something can't be swapped with other Mil-spec guns.
Have you checked out the slide fire stock for one of those? Those are really cool but will run you at least $300.
I assume you picked it up used from a private seller since you went to NH. How much?

just went to a site that had 500 rounds of steel penetrater core 5.56 for $600. That is disgusting! What a huge markup from over a month ago.
