How big is the show and do you think the prices have come down to a reasonable amount yet?

Ammo supply still a bit low which ups the price. Speaking of ammo supply..the nra and suppliers are saying the shortage can be blamed on people panic buying.
It's a good size show I went last year it's at the civic center. At that time some vendors were selling 30 round AR mags for $100 but this was when everything was in panic mode. AR prices have fallen back to pre panic levels along with ammo. I see it stocked well on sites in stores and in bulk it has deff rebounded a good amount.
I take it that you read the American Rifle article about the ammo shortage? I tend to believe it was pretty accurate given the way they explained everything but you still have your conspicery theorists. I'm going to start buying .223 and .40 in bulk so the next time this happens I will have supply and won't be stuck paying mark up prices for ammo
It sounded like you had. It was a good article and seemed to make a lot of sense especially when they broke down the amount that each government agency actually gets per year. When you have shooting and gun ownership going up in general and thrown in an event like sandy hook w/ the type of government we have now and everyone panics b/c of possible bans on guns or magazines and people just buy up everything which is what we saw happen. The article did not want to pin sandy hook as being the trigger but up to that point ammo had been meeting the demand of the increase of shooting and gun ownership.
I watched a video on youtube of someone who had the same AR as mine and currently they are selling for about $620 but in the video he bought his for around $550 and this was before the sandy hook event so prices are not yet where they were a few yrs ago but they have dropped back down to reasonable levels for most things I have been seeing. As soon as I get my income tax I'm getting my compact .40 and buying some bulk .223 and .40. Also at some point this year I would like to start buying some reloading equipment, plenty of room down stairs to set up a bench and some supply's.
Deff saturday. Sunday is the NFC / AFC Championships and the Patriots are playing. I'll see how it looks later on. There is always the show we went to before as well, its later on and nicer weather then as well if this one does not work out.
Just got the new mm&ff mag in the mail. There is a new car from Shelby called the Shleby GT for 2014. Saw that on page 26.
Love seeing those typos. Find that crap all the time in the mag. Maybe they should proof read before they go to print.
I didnt go, didnt seem worth it overall and the guy I was going to go with from work couldn't go so I decided to skip it. Had no real plans of buying anything anyway.
