dood thats not bad at all, dont worry there not going to total a 2001 Cobra over that. The reason your door wont open prob is b/c your fender is tweeked. You are right though that place looks sketchy, get it out of there and to a real body shop.

I'm here. Been really busy with the apartment and new wife and such. Had a virus on my computer too that I just fixed, so that was keeping me offline the past few days!

I'll find out more details tomorrow when Im at chris's. I was there most of the day today working on the car. We got alot done but still have alot to go. If things go alright we should have it done buy tues or weds, really trying to shoot for tues. Larry you can still register even if you dont make it, belive me its alot easyer to register online then to do it there the day of the show.

Mike any Idea on when you can get the stang to a body shop and get an est done on it?? well Ive got go clean up some, covered in filth, oil, coolent, greese and grime, its all for a good cause though

The insurance company is going to look it at on Monday i hope to have to a body shop by weds, i doubt it will be that quick though.

As long as i have her back by June 1st I'll be happy, provided there is no major damage. If it's totalled i will be having me a new one

I think there would have to be some major unibody damage if they total it b/c it dosent look to bad really, where did he hit you right on the front bumper b/c the fender on the drivers side looks ok. Im sure you can catch a ride w/ someone for the show, hey now we have a camera man . I know it sucks having your stang wrecked, heres a pic of mine from a few hrs ago, got a little to close and personal w/ the guard rail off the durham exit #20. State tried to make me pay for the guard rail when all I did was leave paint on it, it was all beat up and dented from plow trucks, I pretty much told them to shove it.

O.K. guys, NOBODY drives thier car until BE, you got it?!? Way to many fender benders here lately. Maybe the ricers over at MaineStreet put a curse on us . Be safe guys, Fred and I are going to the dyno today, I won't be home until Sunday afternoon.

Going to mass or saco?

Chris and I were just talking about that too about how its so close to the show and no one should be driving the stangs " just in case ". I take it you got your belt slippage issue fixed.

My whole body aches, hopefully the hardest part of this project is done b/c for being on vacation my body is taking a beating. Of corse most of it came from trying to reach up underneith the dash to ream out a hole in the firewall so I could run some guage wires through it. Would have been extreamly helful if the punch I was using was slightly bigger but someone (BRYAN) has chris's larger punch. Maybe I should have had bryan come over and do it, I heard he's good at reeming out holes

no sorry, I meant few yrs ago, my mind was focused on everything I had been doing on the car just a few hrs prior to writing this. That was back in 2000 I belive. $4,500 in damage, also the back end was messed up some. Needed a new bumper, fender, heater core, had to fix the radiator bracket b/c that was bent back, needed new parts for the rear bumper.
