Hey Brian, I had the same problem with my truck (88' F-150 w/ 5.0). After changing the IAC valve and the EGR valve, Finally found the TPS Sensor bad. try unplugging it and then take it for a ride. You check engine light will come on, but it will go out when you plug the TPS back in. Mine would keep dying when my foot was off the gas, unplugged the TPS and it ran like a champ.gaslight said:no he is just going over how to give good head. Drove the car over 25miles today. Still wants to die when you come to a stop or want to downshift. Have to keep the foot a little on the gas so it doesn't die. Feels like one of the plugs isn't firing right and yes they are brand new. The valves might also be improperly adjusted. Oh well, for now it runs and will make it to the show. Finished waxing the car a couple of days ago and vacuum the interior this morning. Glad I had the garage door closed before it got too hot and muggy. Kept it nice and cool in the garage.

He probably had to go home and clean his shorts. I stopped and talked to him in Westbrook and he said his car hit 15psi when he nailed it. Those wastegates make a butt load of noise.
