my horsepower is low for the amount of torque that I was putting down. I have some things that could use some work. I was amazed that my clutch held up to that much torque. Follow up runs netted 520 ft/lbs. I think the engine was getting a little hot plus it still doesn't run that smooth.
I am real tired after today. Just came back from Amatos with calzones(YUMMY). Now its time to shower and hit the hay.
That smoke in my engine bay made me real nervous tonight. Good thing it just turned out to be leaking power steering fluid. I think I pooped in my pants when I saw that smoke.
Good night everyone. Great day just a little too long and too much sun. Too bad about Chris' car having to be towed home. That sucked.

It was nice meeting you. Good run.
Chris got the HP trophy but had to be towed home. I blew everyone away with the torque.

Just wondering if anybody had any pics of my dyno run? I brought my digital camcorder but the battery was dead. Also let me know when that video goes on-line. If not maybe I could get a copy from someone.

Why is it that the 5.0's all got such high Tq #'s in relation to their hp? That asian guy (JONJON)at the other dyno day had hp about 10 under mine but his tourque was way above mine at 290 something also. I think that I understand the principles of torque vs. hp, but I don't get how they could be that far apart (over 100 for Brian).

Travis, blah blah blah

Dan, nice to see you got up around the 400 you were looking for.

I know Chris (and maybe some others) had some questions about the Spec clutches. Check out this site for specs---> http://www.modernperformancenw.com/spec.html .

Like they say no replacement for displacement when it comes to torque.

I saw 549RWTQ on the screen also. You can get any dyno #'s that you may want in any configuration if you email Peter and ask. He will send you the info in JPEG format. Petejohnson@performance-dyno.com

Oh yeah thats right, mike scuffed his pretty cobra rim on the curb . Look at it this way it could have been alot worse. Lets face it something always happens when we all hang out, its a given. Chris breaks down and you scuff up your rim, typical SSOM get together Im suprised it was you though seems more like something I would do.

Oh yeah I dident win the powerball drawing

Thats some good prices on some SPEC Clutches. I'll let chris know, usually the stage III goes for about $330.

$hit, I was counting on a new set of wheels too . I am actually pretty surprised that happened to me too. Between the lack of sleep, the heat, and the exhaust fumes, I am surprised something worse did not happen.

yeah all those factors dont help, breathing in exhuast for long periods of time is not fun, we all seem to have stinky cars . Being in the back is no fun but I know we all got our fair share of everyone elses exhaust.

Cant forget to give Props to Dan and Mike for there amazing HP gains w/ just changing the exhaust. Dans dyno run really showed me that my flows have to go. Mike thats amazing that you picked up 20 RWHP N/A w/ just exhaust Your car sounds awesome to I really like it.

You should look into that SLP loud mouth bro......may be a bit to loud though. Hey I really didn't want to jump on the magnaflow bandwagon either, but DAMN!!!!! You can't argue with cold hard #'s!!

I know your right the #'s are right there in black and white. The dynomax ultra flows are also a very good stright through desgin that im condidering. Ive got awhile to make up my mind, not like I'll be buying all this in the next few wks.

I have heard that the LSP LM is a pretty loud exhaust as well. Id like to quiet it down some even though its not as loud as some of the other exhuast setups we have.

You can't argue with stainless steel and that awesome sound either, especially for the price. SLP can go get F'ed in the A!!
