That sounds more like your style!!
Me and Fred went to Waterville last night and chilled with the Ricers. For the most part they were pretty cool guys. They never talked **** even once. They new there place. some old guy in a yellow 03 GT vert rolled into the parkling lot playing Justin Timberlake. He claimed that he had $6000 under the hood all motor and that he could take a stock 03 Cobra (Freds). The guy was a tool. all he had was a borla catback and was claiming 330rwhp. Even they ricers raised the BS flag on him. Pretty funny stuff. We should all get together and roll up there next saturday night. It would be fun!!

Got the battery box mounted and it functional. I still have to get another ground cable so I can run it straight to the engine.
I got the MSD ignition mounted and hooked up. The pisser is that while tightening the wires to the new coil, the terminal post snapped off. So I have to call MSD and see if that is covered under the warranty. I haven't even used the coil yet . When I get a new one all I have to do is hook it up and I'm good to go. I have the new mounts and wiring sitting there waiting for a coil.
I also got my overflow hooked up but haven't finished to hood lock yet. The locks will have to wait.

no word yet on when we plan on doing it but even I can go I think I might just be a spectator. Think I might have some serious probs w/ my car. Seems to be blowing out alot of white smoke out the back in between normal driving and getting on it hard. You know if semi get on it but not really hammering on it, when I do that it blows white smoke out the back and alot of it. Its not a blown Head gasket b/c the car is not over heating and theres no milky white stuff in the oil. I have no idea what it is, maybe bad piston rings and its getting alot of blow by I dunno and Im not to sure what it is but I know its not good. Dosent look like I'll be getting as far as I want to w/ it this summer. Maybe I'll call it good for this summer and take it easy and put it up for the winter and save up for a heart transplant w/ a stroked 331. I think Id rather go that route then tearing the motor apart and putting the time effort and hassle in fixing what ever is plauging it now.

Sounds like rings to me. Check your oil lately? How much do you have to add and how often? Do a compression test.

Chris did a compression test just before the SC install but I think it was only on one cly and that was at 130 PSI. Just changed the oil and it dosent burn much between changes. The norm is about 1 qt per 3,000 miles and its been like that ever since I owned it. I talked to chris and he seems to think that its a bad PVC valve and oil is puddling up in my upper intake and burning off when I get on it somewhat. I dunno what it really is but I'll take it easy for awhile until I get some days off and take it over and see what we can find.

It takes a lot to keep a car rust free here. The water is good because of all the Moose piss.
