I work diffrent hrs now 6AM - 6PM so no more posting in the morn or early afternoon before I go into work like I used to. My new shift is great though. I work 184 days in 2006 and have off 183.

I have no idea why he would wait around that long. He could have made other deliveries then came back when the other person was ready. He might be on some form of light duty but they shouldn't have loaded it on his vehicle if that was the case. We had one guy a while ago on light duty while driving and they didn't load anything over a certain weight.
He should have just backed up real quick and slammed on the brakes and let the package fly out the back. That's what I would do.
The only time we MIGHT ask for help is if we have something over 70lbs. I don't think anyone in our building has done that in a long time. Years ago I had to help a older driver bring several boxes of that press board furniture crap up to the 2nd or 3rd floor of some appartment building. That crap was real heavy and large. I wound up hurting my backamnit: .

The subs and panhard rod are now sitting in the garage near the welder. Damn, Santa has been good to me so far.
Set up the welder and its cart on sunday. The only bad thing is that the trigger on the gun was broken. The new trigger is supposed to be hear tomorrow. Still not ready to weld though. I have to wire up a circuit that can handle at least 20amps. Good thing the circuit breaker box is in the garage and there is already a hole in the sheetrock next to it. Glad I never patched up that big hole. SOmetimes it pays to be a slacker.
Santa is going to have to get me a welding helmet and some other crap before I begin.

yeah you came home just in time for the good stuff. It was a pretty awesome summer especially compared to last yr. Just think of the good side, only 2 days after you come back you will get to shovel when the storm they are talking about comes through on friday
