Wondering if something happened when you used your laptop to reinstall the tunes. I have a feeling position #2 on your switch is bad. You'll have to bring it by some time, so I can look at it. Look for a fuel pressure drop at high rpm and re-check your rev limiter. In case it got changed from being under the hood alot.

I just thought of something after I posted this. It sounds like you may be blowing the spark out. I had that same thing happen to me a few times. It's like someone just shuts the car off a high rpm. I do remember you saying you changed or messed with the plugs.

I set the plugs at .035 recently I think. Once it hits that wall it won't rev up again. I can drive the car but I can't step on it hard, I have to take it easy. Occasionaly you do hear a little backfire during this time. If I shut off the ignition for just a second or two then it seems to reset and I can beat the piss out of it again as long as I keep it below 5k.
Datalogged 2 files today. I will email them to you. Tell me if you see something strange.

the injector duty cycle hits about 82% at 5k then it goes to about 12% all of the sudden when it hits that barrier.

I was going to head to Epping tonight but looks like some rather nasty storms are moving that way. Its just far enough to make it not worth going if it MIGHT or is going to rain for a short time. If it was under and hr drive then I still might go but as of now I'll wait for weds.

Bryan-

Sell the turbo kit and build a 347 like me, no tunning issues and when done right can pack quite a wallop of power. With the proper suspension and right engine combo you can run 11's along w/ the blown 600 + RWHP Cobra's

I bet my suspension set up is a bit cheaper then a LV 5 IRS

Im going to run slicks, I dont think DR's will cut it.

No doubt that the solid build up is a lot cheaper. As a matter of fact, it would be cheaper for me to switch to a solid axle than it's going to be to beef up the IRS. I love my IRS though, and really like the idea of making it bulletproof.

As far as the slicks/dr's go, the Nittos have taken me pretty far. I am at the point now were I am simply obliviating the tires of the line. I just don't think these tires are going to take me into the 10's, but I am sure I can get much deeper into the 11's with them.

Yeah an IRS set up is very nice when done up right. The ol solid axle will serve me well though. I'll prob run the nitto DR's for a little while until I get more used to the car and then switch over to some weld drag light radials w/ some slicks for track duty. There was a big debate over in 5.0 tech on slicks VS DR's and which was actually harder on the car, it was pretty interesting dicussion on both sides.

I am looking into the 17" MT drag radials too. Seems like a lot of guys are cutting some sweet 60' times with these, some better than the MT ET streets.

Thats one kicker to is If I went full slicks Id have to change the wheels out back at the track like that super fast neon parked beside bryan that was running in the 13's. With the ET Streets you can at least drive down to the track and back. Would be nice to have a full size truck and just trailor the car down like we were all talking about before. Maybe in a few more yrs I can get ride of the ranger and do that.

When done right just like when the turbo is tuned right. Just having difficulties with the Tweecer tuning. Either way it needs proper tuning. Hope you don't expect that thing to run perfectly right out of the box.

You are starting to talk a bit too much smack for someone who doesn't have crap YET. lol

just looked at this vid. It took a long time for the turbo to reach its top end on the dyno. I knew the numbers had to low because it took so long. The meat heads were cheering at the numbers. It was sad. I can't imagine how much $ it took to reach that level in a SAAB.http://videos.streetfire.net/video/9e79c62d-bce2-4a3f-9acd-980d0055d719.htm
