Again I haven't missed much...except the SHaw pregnancy. Congrats when is the pony keg coming out of your gut? Its been in there a lot longer than 9 months.
You threw one in and it was a keeper!

Been busy working around the house on weekends. Haven't had much time to check in here lately or to work on my stang. Replaced some siding and sheathing on the house this weekend. Little bit of fungi was coming out of that siding and indicated water damage. All painted nice and pretty now. Glad it has been cool dry weather. Last weekend I painted the bedroom ceiling(lets hear the jokes) so that task is finally done. Plus when I was on vacation a couple of weeks ago I spent several days in that hot humid crap painting the back of the house.
Don't think I will make it to FFW. I'm just too tired. Not getting enough rest on weekends. I need to spend more time on my butt in front of the TV with a cold beer in my hand. I don't plan on doing jack squat this weekend.

Would you care to go down to the track next weekend?

chris-

I got your call but I cant call out b/c Verizon is a POS and I get no service here. Im only down by Bath for my brothers wedding tomorrow. As far as FFW which I assume you were calling about it looks like a wash out. I'll try and get in touch w/ you tomorrow before or after the wedding if I can get a signal, as of now it looks like a no go

well have fun, I really wanted to go down on sunday but not much point if its going to be raining. I checked on the price of using my stock block and converting it into a 347, its going to take $2000 for that and the intall of the h/c/I. If a new block is only going to cost me $1950 then Id rather go w/ a new block then the one I have now

The old block has more heat cycles on it though. As long as there is no damage, I would stick with the older block.

Thats the unknown dan, Im not 100% sure on the condition of this block, not that I think anything is wrong with it but thats alot of money to dump into a motor that your not sure about. Getting a new block that has been magnafuxed and blue printed sounds like a better deal to me

whats going on next weekend?
My car runs like it used to and will go past 5k RPM with the Tweecer shut off or with the stock program set in one of the positions on the Tweecer. Not the smoothest but it runs. I really need to spend some time learning how to set the thing up myself.

New block would be sweet. Can't you buy a new 347 block from Ford through Summit? Not sure of the price but if all the machine work is done than that will save some time and money.

Had a good time down at FFW today. It was a 1 day event this year, cause of the weather. They decided they would do it all today. Good turnout and I saw a lot people I knew. Got some good pics and got to see a Ford GT in person. Talked with Steve a bit. Lots of cars in the show section, but Charlie still had the best ride. I got some good info for my next build up. You guys better watch out, cause it will be sick!!!!

BTW, I saw a ton of cars with those FR500 wheels. I have to say, I not a big fan. They really don't look that great. I saw them on foxes and newer stangs. The chrome ones I saw had a really crappy chrome job on them. To each thier own I guess. Also saw the red and black notch that is on HP's website. Real clean car...

Bryan-

I'll look into the summit block, Im still weighing my options on where Im getting one from.

Chris-

Wish I could have made FFW this yr but I had my brothers wedding on the same day. As far as the crappy finish on the FR500's alot of them were prob replicas, their are alot of company's out there that do that.

There is a Ford GT at Rowe Ford in Auburn as well. Saw it there a few wks ago.

I've been reading up on the EEC, Tweecer and EEC Analyzer. Dry stuff with tons of info. That is after I spent an hour watching the Stooges this morning and a bunch of the power block. I think I will go watch a movie now. Its been a nice relaxing weekend. Haven't gone anywhere except to go out to eat and food shopping yesterday. The kids aren't here this weekend so it has been nice and quite. Good relaxing weekend .

Ya, I talked with him for a bit. He is working on a turbo modular for his 88 lx. He showed me pics and it should be done for next year. Can't what to see it.

Travis as for the chrome fimish on the wheels you could be right. But what I was getting at is that I don't see what is all the fuss about those wheels?? I don't think they really look that great.
