Bryan did you try out the tune I sent you yet?

Tried it this past weekend. Runs lean so I tried to use the Tweecer to richen the fuel curve especially the lowest 10-15pts because it was running rough and lean on start up. Helped a little but it still goes super lean when decelerating. Was in Vermont the previous couple of days so I haven't messed with it again.
Still got the check engine light. With that light and the lean condition I felt it was time to replace the oldest O2 sensor. The check engine light didn't come on afterwards and the lean condition didn't seem as bad. Staying closer to 14.7 to 15.9 but still very lean on deceleration. Little rough in the mid range just cruising but I'm sure that can be evened out a bit with the fuel curve.

It's going to run lean on decel, thats normal. Don't worry about that. I can richin up the fuel curve. Does it drive better than it did? If it runs good and just needs a little tweeking, then thats good. If I remember correctly mine was a little lean on start up also. I'll have to think about that one. How does it feel under boost? Don't mess with the MAF curve too much cause it can go out of wack really easy. I need to see how many KGPH it pulls at idle..

its got little hiccups while just cruising. Nothing major. Kind of like the very first program you wrote.
I haven't really stomped on it much. Looks a bit lean even when accelerating a bit hard but without getting into boost.
The turbo is definitly spooling up pretty easy. Hearing the blow off valve often while accelerating a little hard but without flooring it. Just normal shifting .
How much can I richen the curve before it really gets messed up? I know you said that the curve needs o be as smooth as possible.

Got it on a lift yesterday and found out what was making the noise. Tranny is rubbing on floorboards. Should be easy enough to fix. Not sure why it took this long to start making the noise though. Maybe mounts settled a little or something.

Real glad to hear that was the problem. Now it should be a lot less stress on you.

Been driving my car a little. Running better. Turned the fuel pressure regulator another quarter turn to add some more fuel. When I stomped on it the AF ratio would be in the 13s which is too lean. Now its in the 11s and 12s. Running real strong.
Today is my 39th birthday. Only one more year till the big 40.

Travis do you know of a way to use some parental controls on the PS3. I wasn't sure if there were any. One if not both of the boys were downloading **** clips off the internet onto the PS3. Yeah I know that is wonderful thing. I had been wanting to take a look at the Ps3 for a long time to see what they had been downloading and I wasn't amused. Their mother wasn't happy either. For now they won't be allowed to hook up to the internet.

AHHH!!!! I forgot you changed the fuel pressure... The tune is design to run at 40psi Vaccum off... You shouldn't have messed with that in the first place . Trust me. Put your fuel pressure to 40psi and it should run like a champ. Messin with the FP may have caused your head failure.... Your killin me here. Thats why it was so lean. Don't touch that tune!!!! Leave it....

Redline_351r,
This is Adam from the races today at New England Dragway.
Hope you didn't get caught in too bad of a rain going back up north.
I'll try to get that video of your run off my brother tomorrow.

I forgot to mention that I swapped the 28 spline axles with 31 splines when I did the 3.73s... but maybe the 94 Cobra already has them. It's a good idea for future HP/TQ increases was why I did it... since it already apart anyways.

Nice meeting you and your brother today Adam. I got nailed in the rain on the way back. took me an hr to hit the ME border when it usually takes 20 mins. It was 35 MPH all the way to portland it was raining so hard. I had to pull under an over pass near biddeford b/c the hail was coming down so hard, I heard there were 60 MPH winds. Needless to say it was a long not so fun ride home, I hope you and paul faired better. Looking forward to getting that vid

Got the car weighed today at the track, came in at 3,500 with me out and 3,692 with me in it. Thing needs a diet.

Sigs tend to be a little longer when you actually have a Mustang

I ordered 3.73s from Buy Ford Racing.com but for some reason they cancelled the order. I have no idea why or if it was just a typo in the e-mail. Either way Im going to call tomorrow and see if it is cancelled or not and if it is can you order a set for me. Id like to get them put in on weds and go to the track weds night. If you could order them on mon and get them tues or weds morn that would be sweet. I have to find up what was up with that E-mail I got first though. Give me a call sometime today if you want.

BTW: They were 173.00 Shipped.

You know you should put about 500 miles of normal driving on them before you start racing.... They should be broken in...

I have plenty in stock. The labor will be cheaper if you buy them through me, but whatever you want to do. I can get them next day for $200 SHIPPED!!! Not sure how long to put them in. I'am figuring 3-4 hours on the safe side.
You'll need three quarts of gear oil and friction modifier.

I ordered the speedo gear and modifer through Mustangs unlimted. I was just going to pick up some gear oil from napa.

So buying them from you + the cheaper labor will equal out to more then then $27 extra that it costs. $200 shipped VS $173 shipped. I didnt think you had to break gears in no biggie.

What about shims?

Don't worry about the shims, if you already have the gears comming, thats fine. Normally the rate is $20 more per hour. I don't care either way. They better be FMS gears though.. Let me know. It will be in the afternoon until I can get to them, so there problably won't be any racing that day. I work at the raiload in the mornings now and it sucks..

Yeah they are FMS, Wouldnt get anything but those. Like I said I have to call the site tomorrow and see if the order was actually cancelled and why.

After the gears are done its time for some 31 splines and some weld pro stars and MT ET Streets
