( Not you ) but people are to quick to jump on the term " Rice " these days, its been blown out of proportion so bad that anything that is not run of the mill is considerd to be rice. So should I conform w/ the rest of the red Mustangs here in Maine and all over Stangnet and put on Chrome Cobra R's. Seems like the term rice has gotten so bad that people cant even costomize there own cars w/ out being flamed for it. At one point I was going to put on the S-281 Wing ( the double Decker) but all I heard was....ohh man you cant do that, that wing is sooo ricy... WTF that wing was put on the orginial Saleen 351 Mustangs back in 1995 long before F&F was ever made or the term Rice was ever invented and long before peope started modding 4 cly b/c it was the cool thing to do. How can that wing be accatable in 95 but now its Rice? I just dont get it. I did end up getting the S-351 wing, Single plane but not b/c of pressure but b/c of cost and I like the low profile of the wing more then the 281. So anyway theres my rant on rice.

I think the term rice has been around longer than that but yeah I agree with ya. It's just the way it's applied that has changed. I know in college back in early 90's i lived next door to a harley shop and i had a suzuki quad and they always called rice on me. And there wasn't even a domestic quad, except for polaris, and they were better known for they're snomobiles. Remember "rice" comes from "rice burner" i.e. japanese cause they eat alot of rice so really it's a racist connotation. suppose japanese people call stangs "burger". But still that huge ass decal that used to be on my car b4 it was my car i would call "rice" even though it's not japanese and it didn't advertise an aftermarket product it was just too much and fugly.

And as far as your wing goes, just think of how long porsche has been putting that big ass whale tail on they're 911's. So rice has become a generic term for form over functionality. There, my rice rant.

That was pay back for the first time I took it there and they had to run it 3 times before I finially got a print out of my #'s, between it being set for 4 cly settings, and the computer crashing I dident think I was ever going to get correct graph printed out

we just mailed ours last week. almost 3k coming back. More money to replace the roof shingles this spring(how is that for modding ).

I got back just under $1000 total between fed and state. Sucks when you have no kids to claim. But hey I'll take it , thats $1,000 to put towards something bigger or lots of little things
