Speak for yourself, jerkhole. I had 6 trees come down on my property, 2 across the driveway. Luckiliy none hit my house, vehicles, shop or wires. I also lost numerous traps, not sure on the final tally yet, but in teens at least.

Had a wierd/uncool thing happen a couple of times in the car. Both times passing a truck. WOT, it just completely cut out for a heartbeat, and right back to pulling hard, when I first mashed it, it just cut out. Both times raining hard, once the night before the last trip to epping. I discounted it as a fluke and the rain. But it happened again yesterday. I got stuck over there w/ all the wind we had.

I never got to see what the guages did, as I couldn't repeat it, and I had my eyes on the road.

Thats what I was thinking, maybe it got a drop of water or something on it. But I never let off, didn't have time to react before it caught back up. I was also thinking it could be the fuel pump or filter asit was similiar to hitting the rev limiter.

replacing the filter is cheap insurance and a good cheap place to start as far as narrowing down the possibilities.
Take your pick as to what it was, Fuel or Spark?

Well, it never did it before I got the garage to put a new belt on it, so maybe something got knocked loose. I just changed the plug @ 1k miles ago, and they were fine. I'm gonna hafta go over it closely.

On a side note , there's a '97 cobra, 29 k for $9,500 for sale out here. I didn't even know there was another one out here, unless it's this older guy from NH that is building out here. I know he has a '97 along w/ a few other nice cars. If thats the case, it's bone stock. If I had a garage I'd be tempted to buy it and switch all my stuff over to it, have a fresher engine and paint job, and sell mine for whatever.

that would be sweet Larry.
Having a garage would be much sweeter. I'm glad I have one and my next house will have to have one also but bigger.

the stang has a new inspection sticker as of today. Washed it as soon as I got home because it was warm and may be the last warm day for a long time. It may be the last day it comes out until spring. Next few days look crappy and cold.

Sorry to hear about the crap season Larry especially after such a great start in the spring.
Worden how are things with Katrina?

On vacation this week. Getting ready for the winter. We signed a contract with Lowes the other day to have 8 windows replaced. I hate vinyl windows so we are getting wood interior with a vinyl clad exterior Pella windows. The price was good and zero percent financing till Jan 2009.
Now I have to look into adding more insulation to the attic to cut down on the heating bills.
Went to Boston yesterday with my wife . Had a good time and it wasn't crowded at all in Quincy market or Copely Plaza. Ate at California Pizza Kitchen which was yummy and picked up some great Italian pastries in the north end. I would have liked to go to China town but we ran out of time. It was 60* and sunny. Beautiful day.
