That looks really nice from the pictures.

Yeah It crossed my mind as far as breaking down but he said when he bought it he drove it from Michigan to FL and I took his word for it as far as being in good running condition which it was. I was real nervous though b/c it developed a radiator leak the day before I was going to head back. I bought some of that Radiator stop leak and its held to this day but I just bought a new 2 core aluminum radiator anyway.

On a side note

Took the stang out today for the first time in exactly 6 months to the day . Last time I drove it was Oct 5th. Felt good just to drive it again, ran like crap until I got some new gas in it but its coming around now.

Not sure if you guys have seen this but you need to.

I do not condone this type of behavior but its damn fun watching someone else do it

On a side note when I took the Mustang out yesterday I went into town to fill it up with some fresh gas and I found it almost impossible to find a gas station that has 93 octane!!!!!! The Mobil in Raymond switched to 91, New gas station in Raymond only went up to 91, Mobil across from walmart only carried up to 91. Finally at my 4th stop at the Exxon at the 302/35 intersection in Windham I found some 93.

I noticed that places were down grading to 91 a few months ago. Most people don't notice it until they are already filling up if they notice at all.

i agree that patience is key when buying a vehicle.

turbos are mounted in front of front tires. also, these are Garret twin t3-t04b hybrids ported to 57mm compressor wheels.(.48AR)? hybrids?

Those turbos probably spool up pretty quick but that also means they will peak a lot quicker(can only make so much HP). Do some research on those and about how much HP they can support efficiently. Sounds like someone made the turbo setup themselves.
You only need a turbo timer if you drive it hard and shut it off quickly. The timer keeps the engine running after you shut off the key in order to let the oil keep running through the turbos to help them cool down slightly. This prevents 'coking' of the oil on the bearings. I don't worry about it even at the track because by the time I get back to the pits and park it should be OK. I let the engine idle for a few seconds to let the fan and water pump cool things down slightly.

I had no idea until I was actually looking for it. Didnt notice all winter long due to just filling up with 87 with the truck. Seems as though with gas getting up there in price they feel as though there is not much demand or use for keeping 93 at the pump. $hit was damn expensive though cost $3.49 a gallon.

I noticed that last summer, Trav. I noticed a place near here when I was filling up my truck this spring that had 93, but it was $3.59.

Regular in Rockland is 3.29, out here, 3.94...

thats the pleasure of being on a island. The more remote the location the higher the price is going to be.

Got my ARP studs in, PPRV delete, and a new tune!

the yellow slowness is running better that ever...and no more hesitation! remember that **** trav???

A blown diaphram near the PPRV was causing that issue...it was completely staved of fuel between shifts because of that...hence the hesitation

i'll have some new track times very soon!

aweome mike cant wait for some new times

Ive got a fuel leak in mine, Its coming from the first injector on the drivers side. I knew I had been smelling fuel now I know why. Prob wont bother to get it fixed until I get all my new parts and chis can get it all on since the fuel rails have to come off anyway. That wont be until May though so I might not be driving it for awhile now.

Don't mess around with a fuel leak. You don't need a fire do you?
