I still cant figure it out, the car is just not running like it did last yr. I dont see how the cats could effect it to this extent or maybe it just needs a tune up. It still feels very strong and Im driving the hell out of it. My best last yr was a 12.8 @107MPH w/ a 1.808 60'. Last night's and so far this years best was a 13.4@105 MPH w/ a 1.956 60' . My best MPH of the night was 107 but that was on the last run and I spun bad off the line, every run last night got slower and slower I just cant figure it out. Talked to chris and it should be going into the shop next week for the new parts. I wanted to be at where I was as a starting point w/ the new mods but I guess a 13.4 will have to do. Maybe it just needs a tune up who knows.

Got my ass spanked by a GTO on my first run but beat a supercharged 96-98 on my last run, go figure.

did see one of these last night, it had dealer plates w/ a HOLD sign attatched to the rear view. Would have been nice to see it run.

have you changed the fuel filter? while you may have enough pressure, cut volume because of a clogged filter will kill you.. my last lx wouldn't pull past 4000 when i got it, after i changed everything else i changed that and it ripped... just a thought..

Yeah I thought of that, I have a new one along with the rest of the box's of parts going on when it goes into chris's shop next week.

damn I hope not. Maybe Chris can do a compression check on it to. Just seems odd to put it up for the year running 12.8 and take it out this year and it runs mid 13's. Im driving the hell out of it, shifting pretty well, nothing really any different from the way I drove it when it was in the 12's. Im hoping its something like plugs, fuel filter, basic tune up stuff.

nah it's still trapping close to what it his best was

Trav...weather will do that....i'm gonna go out on alimb and say you best time was in cool weather with a low DA

i know my car runs like **** down here from May-oct because of the heat and humidity

Thats the thing though it has not been that humid. Its been from 16% humidity to 24% last fri up from 21% The temps have been from 69-84. The best run was in Oct but I dont imagine the temps/humidity being that much different then from April to early June now.

The car still feels and pulls really strong so thats why I dont really think its motor related but it still seems very stranger over all. One thing that is weird is sometimes but not always after a run there will be a ticking sound, as though its a lifter or an exhaust leak but the only time its done this sound is at the track and its not every run either. I cant pinpoint where the sound is coming from and by the time I park the car the noise is gone.

They've got a blue gt500 in Rockland, it's been there about a month now. Makes me wonder if they're still getting 30k over sticker.

after all the parts get put on Im going to get it dyno tuned, if there are any problems with the car it will show up then. I really hope that now its just a combination of parts that need to be replaced maintenance wise.

for one to be sitting there that long I think they would be crazy to expect anything over sticker.

yeah I mentioned that before along with plugs and plug wires. You know the usual tune up stuff.

A lot of people dont have that much disposable cash to spend on a toy and afford the gas to go in it. Some are still selling over the sticker.

Thats what I dont get, they must know peoples financial situation is not as good as it probably was the past few years so why would they still be selling it for over sticker, besides just pure greed.

they don't care as long as they are making as much money as possible. They are not in it to help you out. They are in business to make money and as long as someone has all that money and wants to part with it for that car.......

got my shed delivered on saturday. They were supposed to be here in the am but didn't get here until 5:30. THey also damaged it during delivery and didn't level it because they didn't have the right equipment. Been in contact with the company and waiting for them to get over here and fix it. Not impressed with the customer service.
