Hopefully in a few days. I think my wife has a couple of days off. How long do you need it? I really don't like leaving it there for long. I 'm just worried about something happening to it.

Sooo in order to carry a gun someone should be shot with one? That must have burned like hell.

Mike, you still have the jeep?? Adam broken a piston in his. Come to find out that the engine is not boost friendly.

That sucks. That would have been so depressing. I say he starts breaking other things with the new engine.

i should be able to have it done in one day, however if it has to stay over night, it will be secure, the guys in the shop have worked on shelbys, and gt40's so they know how to treat something special.

It did burn like hell, even after a few days I was biting my nails and I could still taste it under them and it still burnt my toung some, only got hot for a few seconds but still.

Sucks about Adams motor but getting a stroker is not a bad thing either. Guess Mike wont be going boosted this time around.

Mike, you still have the jeep?? Adam broken a piston in his. Come to find out that the engine is not boost friendly. Not just because of the compression ratio, but also the cheap pistons and the cam which has a 120 LCA that keeps so much exhaust in the chamber it rattles the pistons. Need less to say chrysler did as little as possible to get the engine to last with the power levels it has stock. With a power adder you will either break a piston or spin a bearing, cause of the tight bearing clearances. So, we are going to ditch the stock short block for a built 426 hemi with a more boost friendly 9.3 to 1. We will get the heads ported to the max. When all said and done it will have around 700HP with 5 psi, with the ability to run up to 10. The engine builder said that with the 426 it will be a monster at the track. I would have to say the nothing will keep up with it on the streets... We will keep the stock torque converter, because any higher stall speeds will break axles.. I'll let you guys know how it turns out.

Yup, I still have it. It's still bone stock too. Sucks that Adam had those problems, but it's always a good excuse to upgrade.

how are you supposed to wash that crap off throughly?

And now for something completely different....(Monty Python)
There is a real sweet motorcycle for sale down the street. I was just curious what it was and what the price is. Its a 2006 HD V Rod Screaming Eagle edition with what looks like some extra bling. Its going for $28k.

I've cut up hot peppers before using rubber gloves. Later I went to take out my contact lenses and burned the crap out of my eyes. That stuff stuck to my lenses and I had to clean them multiple times before I could wear them again. That hurt but I'm sure its not as bad as what you were hit with. Can you just imagine how painful it must be to get nailed with that stuff on some of your more sensitive tissues like your penis or rectum.

Just looked at some of the V Rod pricing and suggested MSRP from HD is 16.5k to 18k.

cornholio.
Took the stang to work today. Everything was fine. Still using gas from last year so tonight I stopped to fill up. I was hoping they would still have 94 but no such luck. Only 91

Damn where were you getting 94? Cant find 93 around here anymore the last gas station in Windham that had it just switched to 91. Now the only place that carries 93 is up in gray on the way to the interstate.

Still being N/A its not as much of a problem for me but you guys w/ boost must find it tough. Hope you have a tune setting for 91 octane

Talked to chris last night the new camshaft is in just need to get the new valve springs on then its just a matter of putting it all back together, everything that came off is being replaced w/ new parts anyway...valve covers, Radiator , upper lower intake..exc exc..

He did say that there was still a fuel leak on one of the fittings that leads to the fuel rail, also said there were a few loose lower intake bolts. Wonder if those could have been a cause for why the car was running slower this year and maybe why it was never trapping like it should have.
