IDK, seems like the next logical step for Hyundai. They've made their inroads on the luxury and/or suv market. Plus, they're talking about the whole production plant and everything, not just the name. Seems a little costly for a niche marketeer like Saleen.
Isn't that about the 100th time you've posted that hamster vid?

Don't remember posting it before but its funny. That hamster has some serious HP.
Hyundai I believe is coming out with some sports car in the near future. I think I saw it on a TV show that was covering one of the big city auto shows.

Next year its to late in the year to do it now for the amount of track time I'll actually get. I want a PS3 before winter settles in and both are $400+ and Im running short on time as far as coming up with almost $1,000. Ive spent over $4,000 on the car this year with parts and cost of install of everything. Thats enough for one year. I can get it all done have my rear tires put on and the tune done and the LCA all in a few wks when I get it taken out for next year.

That may be true but you still have more than a month that you could be driving your car around. It would be alot more enjoyable if it were running correctly.
But just like a squirrel gathering nuts for winter you are gathering all your video game stuff for a long winter in front of a TV. Couch Potato.

Mike- I'll be getting another PS3 two weeks from today. What do you have for games we can play online? I have COD4 and Resistance. I picked up MGS4 yesterday at bull moose music for $40

Go pick up Madden 09 and NHL 09. As far as FPS games, I am waiting for Resistance 2, and already have COD 4 for my 360.

BTW, my 360 crashed on my AGAIN, which will make this next one my third!!

Did a cool mod that works great on my 4Runner. In the rear bumper there are some lens that are not used here in the US but are used elsewhere as either part of the fog lights or daytime running lights. On a 4Runner website there are a bunch of guys that have written how to put those lens to use. By using LEDs the lens don't melt.
Just had to drill a hole in the back of the lens and make it big enough to fit a light and socket. Had to tap into the rear wiring to make the bulbs work off the parking lights and brake lights.
It works great and really increases my visibility to other drivers. I put in some bulbs that have 63 leds on them. It really spreads the light out and doesn't show up like 1 real bright spot in the lens.
Don't bust my balls to hard because those are sockets for a 93 Ford Mustang. So this is slightly mustang related. ha ha

parking lights on. the camera really cause a big shine with the flash.

brake lights. again the inside edge of the lens is a reflector and the camera flash really lit that part up.

Thats b/c its a POS. $10 says you never have any issues w/ the PS3. So that makes 2 regular 360's and one Elite?

Brayn. $450 is not worth 1 month of driving for me. I have not driven it since I went to the track last.

haha true but there is nothing else to do. Video gaming is cheaper then Stang modding. Its just been a frustrating mod summer, after everything gets running decent I go to the track and bring it home and its leaking oil again, after that I just wanted to be done w/ it for the year. Nice lights BTW

I think he's had it about a year now. I remember him picking it up one day last summer when I was over for the day.

It only lasted me 8 months. I love the system, but the failure rate on the machines is very high. Customer service is pretty good too, although I would rather not have to deal with them at all.

Im off on weds/thurs, Im picking up the PS3 on tues night after I get out of work. I have an appointment on thurs in Portland though. Maybe my next weekend off if during the week does not work out.

So what are you doing w/ this one? Sending it back for a replacement? It was the RROD correct? Want to know whats really F'ed up though. If you bring back any other type of defective electronic device you are given a new one. With the 360's you get a "refurbished" system. Your 8 month old Elite will probably be replaced by something a few years old

I have seen too many of those systems picked up and replacements delivered. I would hate to have a system like that, that needs to be replaced every few months. It would be nice to see them make a permanent fix. Its just disappointing that in todays age they can't make something last longer. I wouldn't buy something like that if I knew that is what was happening.
Just like the Ipods that don't last much more than a year. That sucks you pay that much money and a year later its junk or costs too much to fix.

the industry acceptable rate for electronic failure is 5%, the 360's is roughly around 30-35%.

Microsoft wont fix the issue b/c its more cost effective to them (hard to imagine) to fix/replace all the broken ones then to redesign the product. This was something that was suppose to be "curbed" and in time the failure rate was going to come down but it still seems to be going pretty strong. The PS3 has failures as well but its within the industry acceptable rate, not the mass failure rate of the 360

I know of others who have had to return more than one. To me that is unacceptable. They should be thinking about the fact that this can turn customers off and send them searching for a system elsewhere. Repeat happy customers make for a strong economic future for any company.
