I imagine the thrust plate could wear a little or as we know things do go bad. Did Chris check the timing at various engine speeds?

I talked to a guy in OOB Friday night who has a procharged white early 90's GT. Car has blueish stripes on the sides of the cowl bulge on his hood. Sounds very healthy too.
Been awhile since I have seen you around. Have you made it down to Epping at all? Ive been chasing a problem w/ my car for about the past 6 wks but I think its finally figured out at least I hope. If the weather is good next saturday or sunday Im calling out from work and going to the track providing the car is running right by then (cross's fingers)
I've been lurking, just not posting much. I've read about your car, sorry it's still not right. I have been tempted to apply some baseball bat therapy to cars of mine in the past for much less than you are going through.
Haven't been to Epping yet. I can really only go on Wednesdays and it seems like it has been raining almost every one since May. The few it hasnt, I was working in Bow, NH and would have had to come all the way home and grab the Bullitt and then turn around to back to Epping.
Plus I had my appendix out on Friday before Memorial Day weekend, which seriously cut into my fun money budget. I planned on getting a set of M/T street radials to mount on spare wheels before going to Epping. I really didn't want to go on my street tires.
So we have been sneaking in short cruises between rainstorms, that's been about it.....

It was the DBX meter it went bad. Chris hooked up his C&L meter that he had on his fox and it runs mint and no hesitation at 4,000 RPMs anymore. I'm buying a PMAS meter and it should be here by Friday. Im calling DBX tomorrow to see if I can get any kind of refund.
Good news!!! What a relief it must be to find the cause. If all the planets line up right maybe we can get to NED next Wednesday. I almost went tonight but got tied up in traffic (Accident on I-95 sb) trying to get home from Auburn and was too ticked off by the time I got home....
