Threw a couple codes on the 97. P0153 and P0155. I know what they mean was wondering if anyone had a solution. I was thinking exhaust leak but the P0155 was making me think maybe bad O2 sensor. Any input?

P0153- Upstream Heated 02 sensor circuit slow response (Bank 2)

P0155- Upstream Heated 02 Sensor heater circuit Fault (bank 2)


Could be some bad 02's. I just has to replace one of mine that went bad. Was only getting 13 MPG

I would say that the sensor is bad. Just replace it. If the computer is seeing a slow response that it's most likely bad...



BTW, I have a 2009 GT in the shop and it's getting the works...
Kenne bell SC 9 psi, Roush suspension, 14" brakes all around, Gears, gauges, loud stereo and complete roush body kit with the roush wheels...
Should be fun. Starting the SC install next week...

let me know when thats almost done so I can come see it.


BTW Pete said code 511 is normal w/ a chip. its also thrown code 998 when running. Not sure when I can have you put the 4.10's in b/c I have a problem w/ the ranger and not sure what it is yet. Might have to see when you have time to throw it on the lift to check the trans mount bolts and tranny bolts to be sure nothing is loose, it has a really bad shake.

Travis where did you get your gears from? Im thinking of getting 3.73s or 4.10s for the 97

As far as I know that site still sells the actual Ford Gears. There are others packaged as Ford Racing gears but have a M at the end of the part number and they are made by Motive.

little leaves never hurt anything.

Not sure when the gears are going in, I'll try for a time next week have to get ahold of chris first to see when I can get in there.

Chris do you know what speedo gear I'll need for 4.10s w/ a M/T? I was looking on mustangs unlimited but I couldn't find one

hey trav what trans does your car have in it??

T5? T45? or did your car come with the 95 R 3550???

either way i wanna say you have a 7 tooth trans gear and i wanna say that you need a white 23 tooth speedo gear for the 4.10s
