haven't started the car since late November. Put the charger on the battery this morning. I need to put the insurance back on it then i will take it out.
Dont think I will make it to Bonney E. Too much going on.

Ah I missed that. Just got done putting in the speed cal in the 97 to fix the speedo for the 4.10s. I couldn't believe how easy it was to install and how accurate the speedo is.

what did you have to do to install it? I need to get one for mine w/ the 4.10's

Travis all I had to do was set the dip switches for the gear ratio, pull the vss and swap the wires into the speedcal harness, plug them in and tie the power wire into the cig lighter. I think it took me longer to Jack up the car.

Travis I would imagine that your speedo would be like mine, mechanical. This wouldn't work for you. You would have to change out a little plastic gear in the side of the transmission.

My speedo is mechanical also. I was going to buy the speedo gear but people claimed they wore out quickly and weren't as accurate so I went with the speedcal

my bad
the gear on my speedo was a little chewed up when Chris helped me swap my trans a while back but it still works.

yeah the DM is a little cheaper too. Does not seem to hard to install.

The biggest benefit in my eyes Travis is that if you ever change to a different gear set you just change the dip switches and if for some reason you ever get a different stang you can just install it that car
