The red match's the rest of the car and the valve covers.

Mike Im never putting a supercharger on it

John that sucks that you cant make tasca day but we'll keep in touch and maybe we can plan a test and tune saturday to go down to before its gets to much later this season.

As of now it should have been in the shop today getting the clutch put in but I ran into a problem of now needing a throttle body spacer b/c this different intake does not allow for as much clearance around the fuel rails for the throttle cable, it keeps binding up against the rails so I need a spacer to push it back out. Plus I lost the clip that attatch's the throttle cable to the pedal. its a small plastic piece. The throttle cable popped off the pedal when I pressed down on the throttle and the throttle cable binded up against the fuel rail and caused the throttle cable to pop off the pedal. When I was trying to get it back on that small plastic piece feel out of my hand it its somewhere up under the dash now, I cant find it anywhere. Tried Ford, no luck and Napa does not have it either. It comes on the throttle body cable but I dont want to have to buy a whole new cable. I did find one for a Fox that has that same plastic clip on ebay so I might just buy that b/c the new throttle cable is a lot more expensive so I might as well get a used one for as cheap as I can b/c all I need is that plastic clip that goes to the top of the pedal and holds the cable in place. Im not sure what else can go wrong lately but its getting really frustrating.

Its getting down to crunch time for me as far as getting the car in the shop and getting the clutch put in b/c I still need 450-500 miles put on it before I can go to the track for tasca day on the 14th. Its going to be cutting it close and that is if I can get this recent issue taken care of and get the car in the shop by mid next week.

Sorry about the compounding issues Travis, hopefully everything will come together in time for you to run at Tasca Day.

I went out and got the 2 guage wire & lugs to do the switch, now I just have to get the motivation to do it.

Good luck if you end up running tomorrow night Bryan, I'd love to see it run sometime.

haha your catching up lol

One prob that was completely my fault is that when I want to NAPA / Ford I was looking up a part that was on a 94 Mustang throttle cable. Just escaped my mind that I had the fox TB swap done so what I need is that part on the cable of a 87-93. I dont think they sell that part on its own so Im probably going to have to buy a new fox cable. Im hoping NAPA has cheap Remaed ones b/c all I need is that plastic clip that connects to the top of the pedal. or I can just go steal bryans

I would say something smartassy like "It's not like he would miss it" except that I actually did see his car one day out in public, so it actually does get used...

I figured by the time he realized it was gone he would be putting it up for the winter.

I just got back from NAPA they dont even carry the part so Im down to 3 options left. 1. Order one from Late Model Resto for $100. 2. Call the Ford Stealership tomorrow and prob get a quote for the same price. 3. Call Central Maine Mustang in Palmyra and see what he has kicking around. Worse come to worse I'll drive up there and get one even though its an hr and a half away as long as I make out better then have to pay $100 for one from either of the other two places. Sucks that I have to buy a whole new cable just for that stupid plastic part.

Nitrous is fun. I had it on my last car, best $500.00 I ever spent on any part for any car.

Looks like its Battle of the Brands night at Epping. That just means more crap going on and less time for me to hit the track. I'll probably just back out and wait a couple of weeks to go to Tasca instead.

You should b/c Im going providing I have the car actually running by then. Its been an up hill battle lately.

Im not spraying it either. Im not dealing with blown head gaskets with boost and Im not dealing with having to pay for NO2 over and over again. Nothing wrong w/ having a hard running strong NA 351. I am going to get 11's and it will be w/ out the assist of boost

I say go stroker. 393-427.

Speaking of huge, I was at Cabela's the other day and I saw a huge revolver. It was a .500 (mag I think). It had to weigh a few pounds empty.

I know which one your talking about Ive seen it there too. Its similar to the Desert Eagle .50 Cal.

Yeah If I do anything else with it then it would be to stroke it out but I dont even know if I'll do that. I think what what Ive done now and with what else I could do next year if I need to I'll be able to get 11's with it.

Heck, I just want to get to the 12's

I'm pretty sure I'll be there (12's) next time I get to Epping. I'm going on the same crappy street tires I have been using. I'll make a few passes on them and see where the car is now. Then I will mount up a set of DR's on the spare wheels and see what happens.

Rounds for that 50cal probably weigh as much as the 22cal pea shooter I have. It'd be interesting to fire a few though.

no it was a revolver not a semi-auto. The frame and cylinder were huge. Could have been the gun they used in Hell Boy .

I was going to use my bike yesterday until my wife pointed out the registration ran out in May. Ha Ha. I used it a lot in June and only a little at the beginning of July. Good thing I never got pulled over. I also don't have an inspection sticker either. Gonna have to rectify that stuff.
