Lost a co worker today he was my partner for awhile and I knew him for 8 years. Was working on a car at home and the jack gave out the car came down and broke his neck. I suspect he was not using jack stands. He left behind a wife and young daughter. He was 34. Always be careful guys

jackstands are key. That hub looks different like it has rivets in it.

Good job Mike!

I have always tried to use more jack stands than needed, and still get uncomfortable under a car. To leave a family behind like that is just tragic.

It wont really be that far off Fred. If I can have it going for Tasca day in Aug I'll be happy, that gives me aug, sept, and oct for any racing. The powder coating should be done by late this week or next week, the heads are almost complete, Ed is sending me some pics hopefully tonight. So things are moving along now I just need about another month and a half to get the rest of the parts together.

yeah Id like to do tasca day. I have it off for vacation. If everything works out as planned it should be going by then, the only unknown being how long it will take for the headers to be made.

I did run the STI mike, It ran a 13.8 at 102 MPH. We have to do a game day soon and you can take it out for a spin, its quite a fun car.

Here are a few pics from the parts I'm getting powder coated, they are all sand blasted now and just waiting for the powder.

Stopped by and Talked with Chris for awhile today, he is the sole owner of Portland Tint now. Adam wanted to go on to do some more schooling I guess and chris bought him out.

We sure do need to get together soon, it's been too long. Are you saying that I can drive the STI? Be careful what you say.

I am Glad to hear Chris is doing well, he is a smart and talented guy, so I am not surprised.
